GIVING

Giving to God an offering is a holy activity going back all the way to the Garden of Eden when Abel brought to God an acceptable gift, but Cain did not.

Giving to God an offering was a holy activity when a whole new nation of ex-slaves was being formed into a new nation.

It was an important holy activity in the practice of the Early Church … and it continues to be to this very day.

If someone asks, “how much should I give?” and “what should I give?” The best answer is “give everything you have!” Jesus gave His all for you, so you should give your all to Him! The more common Biblical answer is “give according to God’s expectation of the tithe” which means 10% of your income.

To do so is that holy activity an act of obedience, a step of faith and a demonstration of your commitment to honour the Lord.

For your tithes & offerings to the Lord, you can give through the Interac platform through HCLOfferings@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

The Deacons of Home Church Langley
