Corporate Prayer Renewal (CPR)

What do churches do?  Basically, they “devote themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” So says Acts 2:42. The first** Monday evening of the month is our Corporate Prayer Gathering at the Langley Township building.  It is a beautiful, Spirit-filled hour of prayer starting @ 7:00 p.m. Langley Township Building  4th Floor.  Yorkson Creek Room. There is no higher calling than to pray.

**If the first Monday is a stat holiday then we will meet on the second Monday instead.

Clothes 2 U

Today, we are privileged to help the less fortunate who are in need of clothing and much much more.

James 2:15,16

“Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”

Projecting Faith Offering

If the screen has been looking a little off lately, don’t worry, your eyes aren’t going wonky! Our projector is on its last legs.

With the blessing of the Lord, we’ve had several successful fund-raisers in recent years and we’re trusting Him again to provide the funds for this Panasonic PT-MZ670 projector.

Please join us on this Sunday for a special faith offering to provide for the much-needed new projector.

Small Group Leader & Host Training

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25).

And so we have a one time training event to ensure that we are doing the Lord’s work at the highest level and properly representing Christ.

Sandwich Walk & Talk

There were disciples walking and talking on the road to Emmaus, when Jesus Himself came and joined them. And so we do the same.

You’re invited today to enjoy lunch in the Community Room (after church) and then do a couple of easy laps around the Brydon Lagoon with good friends and good conversation.

May the Lord join us in our fellowship!

Greeter and NOW Team Training

We follow in Jesus’ footsteps by serving beyond expectation. We are the ambassadors of Heaven here on earth and we are to encourage and edify all those, both known and unknown, to whom we come in contact. When people see us, they see Jesus!

And so we have a one time training event to ensure that we are doing the Lord’s work at the highest level and properly representing Christ.
